AIPOTHERY LLC operates AppSeshn, a platform that enables salons, barbershops, and other beauty service businesses to send SMS messages to their customers. This page summarizes our SMS practices. For legal detail, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What kinds of SMS we send
Transactional (service-related):
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations
- Walk-in queue position updates and tech availability
- Cancellation and waitlist notifications
- One-time verification codes
- Account and security notifications
Promotional (marketing):
- Exclusive offers and deals
- Win-back and re-engagement messages
- Seasonal promotions
- New service announcements
How customers opt in
Transactional SMS: Customers provide explicit consent at booking, walk-in check-in, or account creation. Consent is captured in our platform at the record level.
Promotional SMS: Requires a separate, explicit opt-in. After a customer's first visit with a participating business, they receive a transactional SMS inviting them to reply DEALS (or a similar keyword) to opt into marketing. Only after that keyword reply do they receive any promotional SMS.
How customers opt out
- STOP: Reply STOP to any message. Always honored, always immediate.
- Scope: Replying STOP to a marketing message opts the customer out of marketing only; transactional messages continue. To opt out entirely, contact the business or our support at hello@aipothery.com.
- Confirmation: A single confirmation message is sent on opt-out. No further messages follow unless the customer opts back in.
Frequency
- Transactional: typically 1–5 messages per week, varies by appointment activity
- Promotional: typically 1–4 messages per month per business the customer has opted into
Carrier disclosure
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the customer's mobile carrier and plan.

Data protection
We do not sell, rent, or share customer phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Marketing consent is scoped per-business — opting in with one business on our platform does not opt the customer into marketing from any other business.
Compliance
AppSeshn is registered for A2P 10DLC messaging with The Campaign Registry (TCR Brand ID: BTOHGII, Campaign ID: C0D4ZRA) and sends SMS via Telnyx. All SMS traffic complies with TCPA, CTIA, and individual carrier policies.
